As a result of running these types of stinger for some years, BTR are now able to offer a unique 2 piece design of stinger drive for larger IC boats.  As a result of extensive of race testing and development these new stingers feature a left-hand threaded 5/16" spigot rather than using a lock nut, which would frequently come loose under race conditions.  This new CNC design means that losing a shaft and prop as a result of the spigot falling out is highly unlikely.  A hefty squared end has been incorporated into the design as a means of removal when necessary.

Additionally, the bolt fixing apertures are now slotted allowing for accurate vertical adjustment of the entire drive in relation to the transom, as well as featuring metric strut angle adjustment bolts, rather than the 1/4" size commonly found on older designs of strut.
